Could have been great

I swear I guess I say this every time I rate a game. It’s a fun tower defense game if it wasn’t for the fact that progression is entirely based on watching ads. From previous ratings, I gathered that there were just a lot of pop up ads. That’s fine with me, I’ll just turn off WiFi and not let the app use my cellular data so the ads don’t pop up. But that’s not the real problem here. It’s that you have to watch ads to progress in any reasonable amount of time. I have to replay the same round I don’t even know how many times to beat it. I even tried tricks such as dragging a high level tower along the track. It really gets repetitive. I’ve been playing this game for TWO DAYS straight and I’m only on level 1, round 20 something. If I do some really quick math here, over the course that I’ve played this game I think it comes out to having to play each round over again about 30-50 times. And it’s not like you can watch one ad and be good for the next hour or so, you’re constantly watching ads because you blow through the rewards so quickly. Not only do you have to watch ads to progress, but as long as you’re connected to WiFi you’ll get random pop up ads that are there just for app revenue and give no rewards. As if you’re not shoving enough ads down your community’s throat by practically forcing them to watch ads to progress.

This game has great gameplay, takes me back to bloons tower defense on flash back in the day, great graphics and system that mixes it up before it gets stale. Now the bad parts. 1 Crazy amounts of ads, you wanna make any decent progress without paying (next point) you better be ready to sit through 4 mins of ads to get more cards, money, upgrades, boosters. It’s honestly on the verge of game breaking. 2 now the elephant in the room... 7.50 a WEEK for 1000ish diamonds, no ads (I’m sure they are still be there for boosters) extra cash when away, and a few other menial changes. It’s absolutely disgusting, it’s an app and you cheapskates and wringing the players dry (the ones who do pay the absurd price to get rid of the blatant overflow of ads to get every penny out of everyone else) DEVS, fix this and the game is a 5 star masterpiece, until then your trash humans in my opinion, I won’t spend a dime on this cash-grab in its current state, 10$ a month is very reasonable even if you make tiers to get diehard players to spend more, 30$ a month? Naah, you’re making yourselves look bad.
Fun - Easily Broken

Fun game, but I have some issues. I decided I’d try the three day free trial, and when I went to cancel, there was no cancel button in the game. Had to go through the initial email to cancel the subscription. Haven’t checked if I was charged. Also, the game’s random tower upgrade is broken. It “randomly” chooses a tower from your inventory to upgrade four times after you watch an ad. If you only have one tower in your inventory though, regardless of its level, it is upgraded. I currently have a level 1000+ tower while the rest are about two hundred. Closing the app and reopening the app will also spawn a tower upgrade and brush bag every time. So I close the app, reopen it watch two ads while doing something else, and repeat. 50k+ brushes and crazy tower levels. I went from round 89 to 1100+ in one day after I stopped killing the round before the boss. For this game’s sake, this bug/feature should be fixed. It’s fun to break stuff though. Trying to see how high leveled I can get the tower before the game dies rn...
Good game could be great

Hope the devs at least read this. The Good: The game itself. I really enjoy it. Simple gameplay. Rewards are pretty good even without purchases. I do suggest getting the auto merge at least if you like the game. Makes life a lot easier. (I don’t mind shelling out some $$ for a game I really like, especially if it can be made better in future updates. Time and work isnt free after all.) The Bad: Did the membership to see what perks you got. Looks like it used to be $4.99 but now it’s $7.99. :( For only 150 gems a day it’s not worth it. It says you’re supposed to get triple money but I never do. Only double when the ads work... The Ugly: ADS ADS ADS EVEN TO THOSE WITH MEMBERSHIPS!!!! Come on now. Throw some of us a bone who spend $7.99 a week. Do away with the ads for double/triple money and upgraded towers when they pop up. To me, that would make a membership more appealing. As is, I’ll finish out the month (cause I do like the game, as I said before... and I like getting those epic chests). But the ads are SUPER GLITCHY and barely work. To save up cash now I just get to a part where I can’t auto beat the Boss so the level leading up to him plays over and over, collecting cash, while I snooze. Collects more than “while you were away” even doubled.
