FltCrew-iLog for Pc

I was hesitant to purchase this app after reading many of the bad reviews. I fly for a major legacy carrier and find this to be the perfect replacement for the little books that we all carry around. It is easy to use and works great. I had a few occassions when it crashed, but each time it did it was because I was rushing things (trying to enter something while the program wasn't quite ready). Since then I free up the memory (using a program called "FreeMemory") and have no problems. If you are a 121 pilot and enter your flight times in zulu time (as on the ACARS), you will probably like this. Someone had written a complaint about not being able to enter local times, and they are right that if this is important to you then you will probably not like this since zulu is the only option. The program downloads the bid packet from my company and automatically enters the flight number, city pairs, and scheduled times. My only real complaint so far is the export function. You can only export the flight time in a .csv format for entry into a spreadsheet, and the software doesn't include a spreadsheet template or anything, so you are on your own. I would have given it 5 stars if they provided this function. I would like to see an update with either a spreadsheet template or better yet a standalone program that we can keep on our computer to have a backup of all flight times. Otherwise, a fine app and worth the price!

Kudos to the developer, Ric, for the continued customer support and software updates. Flight Crew iLog is loaded with features. It's the most useful app for Airline Pilots! I've been pleased with this app for several years. Occasionally after a big change, such as the company server login site, there will be issues. It takes some time to get the bugs worked out in the transistion so be patient! Thanks again, Ric.

The recent update fixes the crew photo issue and the dark mode problem. The photo issue made it difficult to type in notes for crews that you’ve worked with. Glad to see Captain Morrill is still working on the application.

After installing, I went through every set up page I could find and filled in all my information. The only thing that uploaded automatically was my scheduled trips. Crewmembers did not upload. Actual times never updated. I used three of the help videos – two had no audio, so they were just video of a pointer moving around the app screen. No help with those. I emailed FltCrew twice asking for some instruction resources. Never even got an acknowledgement email. Finally cut my losses, and deleted the app.
